The first annual summer program was launched in 2008 with an Art and Yoga workshop. The first half of everyday was devoted to yoga class, taught by a certified and experienced yoga teacher who comes in the summer time to volunteer. The classes were designed as an introduction to yoga for children focusing on increasing mental and physical balance and vitality as well as improving flexibility and strength, decreasing stress and regulating their emotions. The second half of the day consisted of the children creating art pieces to complement their morning teachings. The foundation also runs summer programs in other villages when requested, thus bringing arts exposure, craft-making and art expression to children in four-week programs.
